We are excited to welcome Heather Bruce as the new Project Officer for our Highland Community Waste project. This three-year initiative is coordinated and funded by Keep Scotland Beautiful and is driven by eight dedicated community groups across the Highlands.

About the Project
Our mission is to reduce waste in our communities by transforming the way we consume—how we buy, use, and dispose of items. By encouraging better use of resources and extending the lifespan of products, we aim to minimize waste and maximize the benefits of what we have.

Workshops and Classes
As part of this project, we offer a wide range of workshops and classes. These events are designed to educate and engage our community in sustainable practices. For more details and to register for upcoming events, please visit our Eventbrite page.

New Community Growing Space
We are thrilled to announce that we now have access to the Lairg in Blooms polytunnel. We have applied for funding to develop a community growing space, further supporting our goals of sustainability and community collaboration.

Upcoming Events
Over the next few months, there’s a lot on offer, including: Art for Wellbeing, Eco Face Wipes and Bag sewing workshop, Foraging, Family cookery, Mental Health Awareness Training, First Aid, a six week Highland Heritage class, woodwork and a kids holiday club.
